By purchasing anything through our website, you are agreeing to terms laid out in our “Delivery Policy”
All payments must be made in full prior to delivery.
The ownership of a Product shall only pass to you upon our receipt of the Price of the Product (which shall include the GST thereon) as stated in the Invoice. Until we receive full payment of the Price of the Product, the ownership of the Product shall remain vested with us.
Products may not be available for immediate delivery. WTP Furniture Solutions will contact you on receipt of your Order to notify you of the indicative delivery date. Accordingly, we shall not be responsible and shall not accept any liability for not being able to deliver a Product within the specified time resulting from shipment/delivery delays from our suppliers.
Delivery times will be arranged with you in advance.
We will provide delivery to one (1) address for each invoice. An additional transport fee, (“the Transport Fee”) shall be payable by you.
You are responsible for ensuring that there is adequate access and entry to your premises to allow delivery of the Products. Any additional costs in relation to effecting delivery of the Products into your premises, e.g., the use of a crane, are your responsibility and you shall pay for such additional costs immediately on demand. If it is not possible for the Products to be delivered into your premises, and unless you then accept delivery of the Products under such circumstances, the Products will be returned to our warehouse and you will be invoiced for the Transport Fee for any transport and re-delivery. In addition, the Storage Fee shall be payable by you in accordance with the provisions of the Clause below.
We reserve the right to make part deliveries of any order and each part delivery shall constitute a separate contract in respect of the Products delivered on the same terms and conditions as set out herein. Failure to deliver all the Products you have ordered shall not invalidate the contract as regards any part deliveries.
If you are unable to accept delivery of a Product within 14 days from our first call to you, you shall pay the following:-
The Storage Fee in accordance with the provisions of the Storage Clause below.
The Storage Fee for a Product shall be equivalent to 2% of the Price of the Product for each period of 30 days or part thereof. The Storage Fee shall be subject to GST.
The Storage Fee shall be payable by you until you have accepted delivery of all Products held by us in storage for you.
The Storage Fee shall be payable in a lump sum in advance, without any deduction, set-off or counterclaim, on the first day of the period of 30 days. For the avoidance of doubt, there shall be no apportionment or pro-rating of the Storage Fee even if you subsequently accept delivery the Products that are in storage before the relevant period of 30 days has passed.
If there is no one available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for transport and re-delivery costs.
Should you arrange your own delivery then the goods become your responsibility upon collection from WTP Furniture Solutions’ premises.
Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the item cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any proposed Orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your Order.
Once an Order has been accepted, no cancellation of that Order is valid unless you receive our written communication endorsing the cancelled order.
Your online Order must be paid for in full before we can begin arrangements for the manufacture or supply of the products to you.
Representations of products for sale made by WTP Furniture Solutions via the website do not constitute an offer to sell but an invitation to treat.
You and WTP Furniture Solutions may enter into a contract for the sale and supply of products by you making an offer via the website to purchase a product at the price advertised on the website by:
(a) placing an electronic Order for the products using the website;
(b) you confirming the Order details in accordance with the procedure on the website;
(c) you making payment in full (plus any applicable delivery charges) on the website; and
(d) the acceptance of that offer by WTP Furniture Solutions.
When entering into a sale contract via the website, you will be taken to have communicated your offer to purchase the product(s) only when:
(a) any requirements set out in these terms have been met;
(b) the electronic instruction containing the offer from you enters and is recorded in our database;
(c) a record is created and stored in our database; and
(d) WTP Furniture Solutions receives in its account full payment from you for the product (including any applicable delivery and handling charges) and confirmation of that payment is received by our database.
You acknowledge that:
(a) the transmission of your offer or the confirmation of any payment, made through an electronic instruction may not be received by WTP Furniture Solutions for reasons beyond either parties' reasonable control including but not limited to, electronic failure, mechanical, software, computer, or telecommunications, or the omission or failure of third party website providers or systems;
(b) to the extent permitted by law, WTP Furniture Solutions is not liable to you in any way for any loss or damage at all and however caused, arising directly or indirectly in connection with the transmission of an electronic instruction through the website, or any failure to receive an electronic instruction for whatever reason;
(c) WTP Furniture Solutions may act on and process all completed electronic instructions transmitted or issued through the website without further consent from or reference to you; and
(d) WTP Furniture Solutions may treat an electronic instruction as authentic and is under no obligation to investigate the authenticity or authority of persons issuing or transmitting such electronic instructions, or to verify the accuracy and completeness of such electronic instructions.
You will receive an email from WTP Furniture Solutions as soon as practicable after you have confirmed your Order and made payment. If you have any questions regarding your Order you may contact our Team.
If your Order is not accepted by WTP Furniture Solutions, WTP Furniture Solutions will notify you by telephone or email and arrange for a full refund of any payment made by you to be processed.
WTP Furniture Solutions may, in its sole and absolute discretion, accept or reject any offer made by you for any reason (or no reason), including an error in the advertised price for, or description of, the products on the website, or an error in your Order.
Any representations made about stock availabilities are accurate to the last known stock level and are subject to change. If WTP Furniture Solutions cannot supply a particular product, WTP Furniture Solutions will notify you by telephone or email as soon as possible.
WTP Furniture Solutions will be deemed to have accepted your Order on the first to occur of issue to you by email of a tax invoice for the sale and the fulfilment of your Order.
You are required to inspect the Product for any defects when you take delivery of it. Please note that scar and wrinkle are natural characteristics of leather and cannot be considered as defects. Similarly, lines appearing on fabricated plastic surfaces are not considered as scratches but are manufacturing characteristics and hence not deemed to be defects.
You will be required to note any defects of the Product on the delivery documentation which is presented to you by the carrier for signature. In all other cases, you will be required to notify us in writing of any defect or shortage within seven (7) calendar days of delivery. We will not be liable for any defect or shortage to a Product unless we are notified within the time period as specified. Unless the Product is defective, and we are duly notified as outlined above, we shall be unable to refund, exchange or credit your account with us.
Once the defect or shortage is verified by us, we will arrange to collect the Product immediately from you whilst we resolve the issue. Please note that a loan piece will not be provided as part of the resolution.
For a Product that is on sale and/or is showroom piece, that Product is sold on a ‘as is condition’ basis and you are deemed to have acknowledged and accepted this basis when you make payment prior to the delivery of that Product.
Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, we shall not accept the return of a Product which has been delivered unless it is with our prior written consent and agreement. Only a return authorised by us will be accepted and our acceptance of any return of a Product shall be subject to such terms and conditions as we may prescribe at our sole and absolute discretion.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
