We have a house full of furniture in Australia so there was no reason for us to buy a whole apartment full of it here. When my husband and I moved to Singapore in September 2009 , Window to the Past was recommended to us, first by our relocation company, Orientations, and then by our real estate agent. When we found out that we could lease furniture from the store , we decided it was a good option for us, since we are only staying in
Singapore for two years.
So among other pieces, we are now leasing this large eight-seater dining table, which I absolutely love. I wanted something modern, but with an Asian twist, and I think the table captures that. It’s sturdy and simple and looksgreat when accessorised with the Oriental table runner and my lucky Buddha! We will have the option to buy it when the two-year lease expires, and I’m almost positive we’ll take it with us.
